In 2008, the House of Representatives declared May the "National Brain Tumor Awareness Month". Did you know that 10 children are diagnosed with a brain tumor every day? Pediatric brain tumors claim the lives of more children than any other type of childhood cancer.
The Joshua's Wish Foundation was formed in the loving memory of 5 year old Joshua Solomon, who lost his battle with an inoperable brain tumor in August of 2009. Joshua's Wish is dedicated to finding a cure for pediatric brain tumors, to financially assisting families of children who have cancer and are undergoing treatment, and to raising awareness of childhood cancer.
